Bend--A local volunteer and activist Lindsay Greco is in her 6th year organizing The Christmas Tree Project of Bend. Greco founded the organization following the passing of her husband in 2013 and wanted to share the Christmas spirit with families who were unable to purchase a Christmas tree. Greco says folks can come by to pick out a tree or even have it delivered if no car is available for transport. Greco says she anticipates providing "well over a hundred trees" to families in need this holiday season. The Christmas Tree Project also provides lights, ornaments and all the fixings for families to enjoy.
