PRINEVILLE, OR -- As KBND reported last week, the family of Les Schwab is planning to sell the company. The family has confirmed they are working with Goldman Sachs to find a buyer.  In 2018, Schwab executives told the Bend Bulletin their annuial revenue was $1.8-billion. Bloomberg Business estimates the sale could bring in $3-billion. The company was headquartered in Prineville for many decades but recently moved to the Bend area. The company operates 429 Les Schwab Tire Centers in 10 states including Oregon, California and Washington.
