CENTRAL OREGON -- The Regional Public Transportation Advisory Committee needs some new members. Cascades East Transit operates fixed route bus and connector service for travel between Bend, Redmond an all outlying communities in the tri county region. The advisory committee meets once every other month. It provides input to the Central Oregon Integovernmental Council on transit issues while educating the public about the value of public transit. Applications are due in by 5pm tomorrow, Wednesday. Applications can be picked up at the Hawthorne Station in Bend or the Redmond Cascades East Office on Antler Avenue.
