BEND, OR --  The Bend City Council is moving to resolve issues arising from homeless camps at Juniper Ridge. Mayor Sally Russell says the camps underscore the affordable housing problem in the region and says it is time for those living there to move on to a more safe and stable living situation. She says there are on-going sanitary and safety issues at the site. Russell says they city is working with stakeholders to provide  resources to help people at Juniper Ridge move on sooner rather than later.
