BEND, OR -- Accreditation and cybersecurity are two items before the COCC Board of Directors when they meet this afternoon. Ron Paradis at the college says they are getting ready for accreditation which occurs every seven years. He says they expect an accreditation team on campus in April. Paradis says the board will hear about cybersecurity and the on-going battle against internet hacks and email phishing scams. The board will also be briefed on the legislative session in Salem and bills that may affect community colleges. Today’s COCC Board Meeting starts at 5-45 at Boyle Education Center.
