TUMALO FALLS, OR -- A Bend woman was rescued near Tumalo Falls midday yesterday. According to witness accounts, 60-year-old Patricia Mullen was crossing a foot bridge carrying her fat-tire bike when she fell off near the Tumalo Creek Trail and the South Fork trail. Mullen was unable to make it back up to the trailhead. After about an hour and a half a Search and Rescue Volunteer was able to reach her. 45 minutes later, seven more volunteers rode in on snowmobiles and then hiked a half mile to bring Mullens out. She was transported to St. Charles for further evaluation.
