BEND, OR -- A Deschutes County Deputy D-A, Jason Kropf, is running for the Oregon House in District 54. The position is now held by incumbent State Representative Cheri Helt.  The 49-year-old Kropf is a Democrat who was elected to the Bend Park and Rec Board in 2019. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

since 2012. Kropf has been a deputy D-A since 2005 and prior to that was a public defender.
