SUNRIVER, OR -- Sunriver resident Hugh Palcic (PAL-sick) has announced he is running for the Oregon Senate in District 28. The position is now held by incumbent Republican State Senator Dennis Linthicum of Klamath county. Palcic filed as a Democrat and serves as a commissioner on the OLCC. He is General Manager of Sunriver Owners Association and serves on the Deschutes County Planning Commission. Palcic says his goals, if elected, are to improve the regional economy and develop affordable housing.
