BEND, OR -- A test of metered signals at a busy Bend intersection will be conducted early next month. The test will be conducted at the Reed Market / Bond / Brookswood roundabout early next month. Bend City Manager Eric King says metered signals are a concept similar to metered on ramps to a freeway. He says the goal is to reduce congestion. King says testing of the metered signals will be the week of March 2nd.
