Wyden Warns Of Foreign Interference In 2020 Elections

BEND, OR -- On his visit to Central Oregon last week, U.S. Senator Ron Wyden told KBND News he is concerned about election security. He says many states use voting machines with an open connection to the internet. Wyden says that’s like placing American ballots in the Kremlin. Wyden urged the US Senate to take action on three important security measures: paper ballots, regular audits, and cybersecurity standards; but got nowhere. He says there will be foreign interference in the 2020 election, and not just from Russia.
