CENTRAL OREGON, -- Support is growing for a proposal to make select counties of Southern, Central and Eastern Oregon part of the state of Idaho. Organizer Mike McCarter says conservative Oregonians are frustrated by democrats ruling the state. McCarter is working to get measures on the ballots in 19 Oregon counties asking voters what they think. The new map would also give Idaho a seaport at Coos Bay. Even if the states approve the new borders, congress will have to give its okay.
