PORTLAND, OR -- For 84 years, Triple-A has rated the top hotels and restaurants, and only the best make the Diamond Awards list. Triple-A's Marie Dodds says 17 hotels in Oregon and three restaurants made the list. Dodds says they need to be upscale and have extensive amenities.  Locally, Bend's Oxford, Fivepine Lodge and Spa in Sisters and Sunriver Resort made the cut. Oregon restaurants that earned Triple A’s Diamond Ratings include The Bay House in Lincoln City, Castagna in Portland and Newberg's Painted Lady.
