BEND, OR -- The Bend La Pine Schools are urging parents to register their children for kindergarten as soon as possible. Elementary Program Director Gary Timms says this will help with planning and staffing. He says they expect about 12-hundred new children in Kindergarten this coming school year. Children must be 5-years old on or before September 1^st to enter Kindergarten.
