Avoid Falling Victim to COVID-19 Scams

CENTRAL OREGON -- If you are trying to decide how you can help during COVID, Danielle Kane at the Better Business Bureau has tips on ways to avoid donating to scams. Things like keeping an eye out for websites that have similar names and spelling mistakes can be an indication of a fraudulent business. Kane says a legitimate organization will also have a valid email address listed so that people can verify whether it’s real or not.
