PRINEVILLE, OR -- Crook County Schools has announced only students in Kindergarten through 3 grades will be in the classroom September 8^th…all other classes will be on-line. School District spokesman Jason Carr says to get all students back in the classroom Crook county has to meet new state metrics. He says they require 10 or fewer virus cases per 100-thousand people…and…an active virus case rate of less than 5-per cent of the population for three weeks. Carr says not having students in the classroom will be a challenge for working parents. He says the school district is retooling distance learning options based on parent feedback.
