BEND, OR -- Yesterday, the Bend LaPine School Board decided to allow K-3 students back to the classroom on a limited basis beginning October fifth. Central Oregon Daily reports the schedule will include 3 days of distance learning and two full days in class with teachers each week. To reduce class size and maximize social distancing at schools, students will be split into two groups based on last names.
