As KBND reported yesterday Deschutes county virus cases have spiked following the Labor Day holiday. During this week’s briefing to county commissioners, Doctor Richard Fawcett looked at the changing demographics of the disease. He says in September one-third of positive virus cases were people under age 30. Fawcett also told commissioners of the 7 patients hospitalized with the virus, 5 are not Deschutes county residents.
