On Friday, Oregon reported the highest number of new daily covid-19 cases since the pandemic began. Sidelinger says it's especially important for kindergarten through third graders to return to in-person instruction. He says social distancing, masks and other hygiene procedures would give schools the best chance of keeping cases low and allowing kids back in the classroom.
