A Bend man has been charged with assault in the stabbing of his mother. 30-year-old Cody Meiser allegedly stabbed his 63-year-old mother several times in the back and side. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The incident took place at a home on Meerkat Avenue in Bend yesterday around 5 in the afternoon.
