Vaccines: Not nearly Enough

The Oregon Health Authority has allocated 2,340 first-dose vaccines to Deschutes County for this week. Beginning today  people 65 and older will be eligible to receive the vaccine…that’s about 40-thousand Deschutes County residents.  The county’s Health services Director, Dr. George Conway, says unfortunately, due to limited vaccine supply, it may be several weeks before all eligible people will able to schedule their vaccination.
