A 72 year old Bend man taken into custody by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office for child porn possession may spark a national investigation into the crime.  Detectives took Peter Hiatt into custody, capping off an initial investigation launched by Redmond Police last month.  Their investigation involved a search of the man’s home where they uncovered numerous pornographic photographs of children including 59 listed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
