The High Desert Museum is among the 15 finalists for the highest honor for museums and libraries nationwide.  It’s the 2021 Institute of Museum and Library Sciences  national medal for library service that recognizes three museums and three libraries each year that go above and beyond to serve their community.  The High Desert Museum was also a finalist in 2018, but didn’t win.
