St. Charles Health in Bend is hitting its breaking point with COVID-19 patients. Hospital officials have reported more than 40 admitted patients, which is actually more than a larger facility like OHSU Hospital in Portland. According to Deschutes County health officials, 98-percent of the infected patients showing up at the hospital have not been vaccinated.
