Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel is not among the finalists for U.S. Attorney for Oregon. Following public input and interviews with the seven applicants, a committee ranked the candidates, including Hummel. Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley submitted three other names for the President to choose from.
