There are approximately 11-hundred homeless in Bend and enough shelter space for only about 20-precent of them. The Bend City Council took up the topic of homeless campsites in city Right-of-Ways this week.  Council is working on adding more shelters; some out-of-doors.  There could be an announcement early next year.
