Senate Bill 1511 Could Vacate Convictions for Hundreds

Senate Bill 1511 could vacate convictions for hundreds of people found guilty by non-unanimous juries. Hummel says since 2020, he and his deputies can only get a conviction with a unanimous jury. Currently in committee, Senate Bill 1511 addressed cases prior to the Supreme Court ruling.
