With more than 60 inches of early season snow, Mt. Bachelor opens Friday morning for a special "pass holders' weekend."  The mountain expects to have Little Pine and Skyliner lifts spinning with parking at the Skyliner lot and overflow at West Village. Sixteen trails are groomed, with about 650 acres of skiable terrain. A banner-breaking celebration is planned for 9 a.m. at the bottom of Skyliner.
