Most State offices are closed today as part of the State's Furlough Program. It’s required state worked to take unpaid days off on 10 Fridays since October 2009, affecting about 26,000 state employees and saving the state around $2 million in payroll. While most State offices are closed; many who work in police, corrections, substance abuse treatment, and the Oregon Department of Transportation are working today. Through the Oregon DMV website, you can process vehicle registration renewals, changes of address and notice of vehicle sales.
