Hikers Rescued After Getting Lost, Running Out Of Water In Badlands
A pair of hikers are recovering after running out of supplies in the Badlands Wilderness Area. The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office says the hikers called for help Sunday after getting lost and running out of food and water while hiking the Flatiron Rock Trail. The hikers were about four miles out from the trailhead when they called for help. Search and rescue volunteers found the pair and assisted them back to the trailhead.
