(Tumalo) -- Thirty dogs have been seized from a Deschutes County man who was keeping them in unhealthy conditions.  Last weekend, deputies seized 12 dogs after Bend firefighters responded to a fire on a property near Tumalo and saw the dogs.  Neighbors told deputies 38-year-old David De Persio had another property where they recovered 21 Australian Shepherd dogs, including 15 puppies.  The Humane Society of Central Oregon is caring for the dogs.
