The GAO will look at how the $304 million in federal grants of the project have been spent. They'll also investigate if Oregon drops "Cover Oregon" can the federal government reclaim those funds.

Walden dismissed Governor Kitzhaber's hiring of a consultant to look into what went wrong.  He says he doesn't feel it's useful for the state to investigate itself.
