The name of the boy is not being released per the family's request.

51 year old Leroy Hicks of Warm Springs was driving a Suburban with three occupants when he ran a stop sign and collided with a car driven by 19 year old Colton Hemenway of Madras.

The boy who died was ejected from the vehicle and died as a result of the injuries sustained during the crash.

Five people were badly injured in the accident.
