Deschutes County officials are set to discuss expanding curbside recycling to rural areas currently lacking the service.

The proposal would add a six-dollar monthly fee for residents south of Sunriver and areas north and east of Bend, Redmond… and Sisters.

A public hearing will be held today (Wed) as part of the commissioners’ regular meeting starting at 9 a.m. in Bend…with both in-person and online attendance options.
