It's located about 120 miles from Madras, along the Santiam pass.

Several witnesses believe they saw 31 year old Clinton Swearingen in the area in the last 24 hours.

A resident reported seeing him driving a small red truck around 4 A.M.

Police are scouring the area looking for the escapee.

Authorities say Swearingen climbed the razor wire fence Sunday night and escaped.  He is in prison on theft and burglary charges.
