Approximately 70 acres will be burned adjacent to Black Butte Ranch and Highway 20 in Glaze Meadow area.

An additional 33 acres could be burned three miles north of Camp Sherman as well.

It's hoped these burns will improve wildlife habitat and minimize the potential of future high intensity wildfires.

These areas could be impacted by smoke as a result.
