(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Mariners will begin a three-game series with Detroit tonight after splitting four games with the Los Angeles Angels.  L.A. won last night, 7-5, despite home runs by Michael Saunders and Kyle Seager.  Brandon Maurer recorded his fourth straight loss, allowing five runs on six hits over four innings.  The Mariners and Tigers are set to begin play tonight at 7:10 at Safeco Field.
