(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Mariners hope to extend their winning streak this afternoon when they host the San Diego Padres.  The M's defeated the Padres last night, 5-1, with three of those runs scored on a home run by Kyle Seager in the first inning.  Brad Miller had a solo homer in the second.  Chris Young pitched six shutout innings, allowing four hits and striking out six.
