(Portland, OR)  --  The Portland Timbers are advancing in U.S. Open Cup competition after a 3-0 shutout of the Orlando U-23s.  Gaston Fernandez scored two goals in the first half, and Taylor Peay scored in the 68th minute.  On June 24th, the Timbers will play the winner of today's match between Minnesota United FC and Sporting Kansas City.
