Obafemi Martins scored two goals to help pace the first-place Sounders. Fanendo Adi tallied two goals for the Timbers, who are in sixth place in the Western Conference. Portland has another Cascadia match on Saturday in Vancouver, while Seattle will play at home that day against Colorado.
