Seahawks' Farwell May Need Surgery

(Renton, WA)  --  Seattle Seahawks linebacker and special-teams captain Heath Farwell may need surgery after suffering an "extensive" groin injury during Friday's game against Chicago.  Farwell was injured late in the third quarter when he defended a pass in the end zone.  Head coach Pete Carroll says cornerback Jeremy Lane suffered a less severe groin injury during the Bears game, and tight end Cooper Helfet is recovering well from injuries to his knee and shoulder.
