Carroll, Seahawks Fined, Must Forfeit Minicamp Days

(Renton, WA)  --  The Seattle Seahawks will be required to pay fines and give up two minicamp practice days next season.  NFL.com and ESPN are reporting that head coach Pete Carroll has been fined 100-thousand dollars and the team has been fined 300-thousand for allowing excessive on-field contact between players during a practice on June 16th.  NFL.com says while the Seahawks will be required to forfeit two minicamp days, they'll be allowed one practice session on the final day of minicamp next year.  The Seahawks haven't commented on the reports.
