(Oakland, CA)  --  The Mariners will try to take their series with Oakland this afternoon after earning a 6-5 win.  Rookie starter James Paxton gave up two runs on four hits over seven and two-thirds innings to pick up his fifth victory of the season.  Kyle Seager smacked a two-run homer in the fifth inning for Seattle.  The Mariners and A's will play again this afternoon.
