(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners are now a half-game back in the race for the second AL Wild Card slot, after dropping a 2-1 decision to the Houston Astros.  Logan Morrison's solo home run in the eighth inning accounted for Seattle's scoring.  Roenis Elias pitched six innings, allowing one run and six hits.  The Mariners and Astros will wrap up their three-game series tonight at Safeco Field.
