(Renton, WA)  --  It appears the Seattle Seahawks are going to lose cornerback Byron Maxwell to free agency.  Maxwell, who's been considered the top cornerback on the free-agent market, has told ESPN he plans to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Seahawks were reportedly unable to match the offer the Eagles submitted to Maxwell.  The move, if it goes through, won't become official until Tuesday, when the NFL free-agency period starts.
