(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Trail Blazers guard Wesley Matthews is continuing his recovery from a season-ending ruptured Achilles'.  Matthews is having his walking boot removed that he has worn while recovering from the surgery on March 11th to repair the injury.  Matthews transitioned from a post-surgery cast to the walking boot on April 16th, also ahead of schedule by five days.
