(Baltimore, MD)  --  The Seattle Mariners will try to even up their series with Baltimore tonight after losing to the Orioles, 9-4.  Nelson Cruz slammed a three-run homer for the Mariners in the third inning of last night's game.  Jimmy Paredes [[ pah-RAY-dess ]] homered and drove in four of the Orioles' runs.  Game Two of the three-game series will be played this afternoon in Baltimore.
