(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Mariners are assured of a series loss, after dropping a 5-3 decision last night to the Yankees in eleven innings.  Garrett Jones hit a three-run shot in the eleventh to assure the win for New York.  Nelson Cruz, Austin Jackson, and Robinson Cano each had an RBI for the Mariners.  The two teams will wrap up their three-game series this afternoon at Safeco Field.
