(Hillsboro, OR)  --  Former Wilson High School product and draft pick Nic Coffman will become the first Portland native to play for the Hillsboro Hops.  Coffman was drafted and signed with the Hops' parent club the Arizona Diamondbacks.  He played at Corban University in 2015, and hit .347 with eight home runs and 40 RBI.  Hillsboro opens the season next week in Spokane.
