U.S. Open Begins At Chambers Bay

(University Place, WA)  --  The first U.S. Open golf tournament to be played in the Pacific Northwest will get underway today in University Place, Washington.  The Chambers Bay course near Tacoma, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., opened in 2007 and is considered challenging by many pros.  Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, and Tiger Woods are among those scheduled to tee off today.
