(Eugene, OR)  --  A historic sports venue in Oregon history has burned to the ground.  Civic Stadium in Eugene went up in flames Monday night, and the 78-year-old structure burned down.  The abandoned stadium was the home most recently in 2009 to the Eugene Emeralds.  No injuries were reported, and the fire was declared under control about 7:30 p.m.
